ABOUT THE DIVISION

The VATSIM Middle East Division was created by Mahmoud Fadli in early 2007, and found itself striving to become one of the best and most professional (and realistic) Middle Eastern Online Aviation Divisions in the world. While a relatively new comer into the online aviation world, VATSIM Middle East has shown great hope for future growth, with areas such as Cairo, Amman, Beirut, Doha, Bahrain, and Dubai online and developing. While VATME has come a long way, there is still a long way to go. VATME FLIGHT TIP

VATSIM MIDDLE EAST FLIGHT TIP 1: Know your aircraft, and know your flight. Many pilots on the VATSIM Network tend to rush with regards to flight planning. While we understand that VATSIM is part of a greater flight simulation hobby, we recommend that if you have time to plan your flight, do so. This means check the weather, know the facilities you will be flying into, anticipate departure and arrival routes, and over all, know the route as best you can. You never know what will transpire during your journey - it is always good to be prepared. An even more fundamental piece of advice is to simply know your aircraft! Know your aircraft's limits, runway requirements, weight limitations, operating speeds - know it all! The more you know your aircraft, the better you will handle it when the situations get extreme.
